Songs About Friendship Part-2

The sweetest friendship is like a pillow. When you are tired, you relax on it. When you are sad you drop tears on it. When you are angry you punch it and when you are happy, you hug it. - anonymous

It’s funny when you actually think about how an unknown person comes into your life and slowly becomes a very big part of it. She/he comes and makes our life take a turn for the better; I am not talking about a romantic relationship but a true friendship. Ok, I know there are times when a friend deceives you but in a million betrayals you will always have that one friend who always is at your side during these million betrayals. Making you get up every time you fall, telling you your pros and cons, giving you pep talk when you are drained mentally, calling your ex a bitch or a dog when he/she comes dumps you. We all have at least one such friend who means our life to us.
Well out of the few really close friends I have there is one particular friend who really makes my day. The most comic thing about our friendship was the way it happened. It was straight out of the movie Jab We Met. I was heartbroken after my break-up and the very next day I was off to some place. It was in the train where we met, we had been acquaintances before but it was the train where we really clicked. I don’t know how but this friend of mine somehow managed to get my break-up out of my head and you won’t believe how I changed for the better. Our friendship is still pretty young if you look at it time wise, it’s around one year and eleven months old yet my friend knows me inside out. I don’t know how many times this friend of mine has taken me out of situations which could have been a disaster for me. My friend has made me smile in the saddest of situations. Although we have different ideologies but we connect and this surely proves the fact that “the birds of the same feather flock together “thing is wrong. The advices by my friend have always helped me to be a better person, better human being and a better all-rounder. I still remember the smile on my friend’s face when I got the Mr. Loyola trophy and I also remember the first person to wish me when I was selected as the C.N.C was my friend.
I know probably my friend would be reading this right now and saying ‘stop flattering me, Sushant” and I also know I will surely get a feedback soon but those are yet to come. As I end this I would just like to tell you (my friend) that you rock and even though I say that I am the best actually you are. Thanks a ton for being my mentor, my guide, my teacher (not literally!!) but most importantly my best friend. :-) :-)
