The Delhi Diwali

One thing which I hadn't thought when i booked my flight tickets to Delhi, the capital of our wonderful country was that I will change my thoughts about life by the time i will be on my way back home. Traveling is always a welcome change. You get to see new places, meet new people and see the lovely things that life has to offer.
The evening on which my flight landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport happened to be the diwali evening. After a 45 minute ambassador ride i finally got to my hotel and then after throwing my bag inside the room went out with a friend to see the typical sights and sounds of Delhi. A little bit of shopping here and there, veg pizza mc puff from McDonalds and an ice tea later I thought it was enough for the day and I returned to my hotel. On checking my watch i found it was only 8 p.m. After like an hour in the hotel

:) That's quite an experience to have had in less than 24 hours.

Delhi is full of these dichotomies between the affluent and the downtrodden.
